Mennonite Women

Mennonite Women meet in the Gathering Rooms at CMC on the first Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a worship time, business meeting, lunch hour, and work projects.  Activities range from quilting, sewing and knotting comforters, stringing MCC health and school kit bags, and making cards and other crafts items to sell at the MCC Relief Sale.  Each month an offering is taken for special projects. CMC Mennonite Women relate to Mennonite Women USA, the national organization.

MCC School Kits!

This year, Mennonite Women hopes to reach a total of 500 school kits to be donated to MCC by the end of August. As a group, we are suggesting that you purchase the supplies now, while they are on sale. We will have bags available each Sunday for you to take and fill. Keep the bags until the Sunday of August 25, then bring them to church and during the service there will be an opportunity to bring them to the steps.
(If you will be gone at the end of August; we will happily receive your bags early.)

MCC has changed the content list a bit, and they require metal pencil sharpeners. These are hard to find, and we will be ordering them in bulk to add to the bags. We will also happily accept monetary donations and we will do the shopping for you.
