CMC Student Aid

This committee leads congregational efforts to encourage our youth to pursue a Christian education in Mennonite church schools with an Anabaptist tradition. The committee supervises an annual application process in which CMC youth and young adults are eligible to receive financial assistance if they are attending Bethany Christian Schools or one of our Mennonite universities or seminaries. Dr. Rebecca Stoltzfus' presentation
"What does Mennonite Higher Education have to offer the world?"

This timely topic seems especially important in today's world. President Rebecca J. Stoltzfus became the 18th president of Goshen College in 2017. Stoltzfus holds a chemistry degree from Goshen College and master’s and doctoral degrees in human nutrition from Cornell University. She previously taught at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Baltimore, Maryland), and served as vice provost for undergraduate education & professor of human nutrition at Cornell University before returning to lead her alma mater. President Stoltzfus is married to Kevin W. Miller, a 1985 Goshen College graduate. They are parents of two young adults, Lydia ’18 and Gabe Miller ’20. Her parents are GC alums and CMC members Victor and Marie Stoltzfus of Goshen, and her father was president of Goshen College from 1984 to 1996.
