CMC Student Aid

This committee leads congregational efforts to encourage our youth to pursue a Christian education in Mennonite church schools with an Anabaptist tradition. The committee supervises an annual application process in which CMC youth and young adults are eligible to receive financial assistance if they are attending Bethany Christian Schools or one of our Mennonite universities or seminaries. For more information, contact Del King, chair, or Scott Litwiller, finance director.

Donations

We invite you to consider a(nother) gift before June 30 as we are still $34,000 away from achieving this year’s goal of $92,000! Not meeting our goal will likely impact the level of support that can be offered in the future.

"It means it will be possible for me to continue my Christian education which has drastically changed my love for school."

- Harold Hartzler Bhandari, Bethany Christian

"Receiving financial aid allows me to be able to choose a college that is best for me without making money too large of a deciding factor. It allows me to choose a college that will further myself both personally and academically."

- Madison Swartzendruber, Goshen College

"My congregation's support means that the dream of my mother will come true...seeing her daughter as a professional in a field that won't break her back."

- Mariana Cortes, Goshen College

"As a single parent, I found myself to be struggling and enduring the pandemic. It has been very difficult to adjust to this normal and navigate the expense of the house and cover school tuition. I am very grateful for College Mennonite Church's financial support because I am learning to grow in my theological discernment and competency in ministry, as well as the development of character, sense of call, ministerial identity, and commitment to service in the name of Christ."

- Gisselle Guity, Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary
